Another great day

My supervisor agreed to my plan to work 4 days a week. She had her reservations but as long as my project is going OK it should be fine. She is the only person at work who knew about our PGD. She was also very honest about it. She didn't think it was a good idea but she couldn't have been more supportive. I love her.

The local hospital agreed to cooperate with our London clinic to do the blood tests and scans. They do the tests between 7:30-8:00 a.m. so noone will notice that I am doing an IVF PGD treatment. The consultant we saw was amazing and she even had PGD expertise from her previous job.

A telephone consultation is booked with our London consultant for next week. I really hope we can get started soon.

Today I have a whole day with Lily and tomorrow Puil has a whole day with her. And finally Sunday is for all 3 of us.

Life is great.

  2. Having now done one cycle, I do wonder how you would do it if you are at work! Especially on the days where we were there over 2 hours!

I am hoping I'll have a job by the time I do another cycle, but really not sure how I'll manage it.

Which hospital in London are you being treated by?

    1. Hi MsrM and TCS thanks for your comments :)

How are you doing MsrM? I hope you have great days too! I am so excited to be cycle buddies with you and Hope :-)

Good luck for getting a job TCS! I heard a lot of people are having "dentist" appountments during IVF. I agree our hospital is incredibly thorough. I was also there every day for over two hours (I had to take a holiday first time and was on maternity leave second time) but I hope this cycle will be different. I wrote a post about it. I will have a real dentist appointment tomorrow so wish me good luck:)
